A plan built around the work you want
Since 1999, owner Eric Grossman has helped small businesses build a clearer online presence. Our experience includes home building, landscaping, gutter businesses, and painting contractors. We start with your services, actual coverage area, and the jobs you want more of.
An HVAC repair call is different from a roofing estimate or a whole-house painting project. We help HVAC companies, roofers, gutter installers, painters, plumbers, electricians, flooring businesses, and other residential service providers give customers the information they need to take the next step.
That may mean a clearer service page, better project photos, a stronger Google Business Profile, or an advertising campaign focused on selected services. We recommend a starting point based on your current website, available budget, seasonality, and capacity to respond to inquiries.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can you improve my current contractor website?Yes. We start by looking at how well your current website explains your services, works on a phone, and helps homeowners contact you. We also review the pages you already have, your service-area information, project photos, and important contact paths. That helps us identify which changes would be most useful.
If the existing site has a sound foundation, focused improvements may be enough: clearer service pages, stronger calls to action, updated photos, or simpler navigation. If the platform or layout makes those changes difficult, we can explain the reasons for a rebuild. You receive a recommended scope before deciding how to proceed.
Do you work with HVAC, roofing, plumbing, and electrical businesses?Yes. Acorn works with residential service businesses and can tailor a website or marketing plan to your trade. The priorities for an HVAC company handling repair calls may differ from those of a roofer quoting replacements or an electrician seeking larger installation projects. We discuss the services you want to promote and the areas you actually cover.
Your content should reflect those differences. We can help organize service pages, explain your estimate or booking process, and present your own project photos and customer reviews. You confirm technical details, qualifications, warranties, and service availability so the website represents your business accurately.
Should I start with local SEO or Google Ads?Start with a website that makes your services, coverage, and contact options clear. Local SEO helps strengthen your presence over time through useful pages, accurate business information, and a well-maintained Google Business Profile. Google Ads can help you reach people searching for selected services while a campaign is running.
The right starting point depends on your budget, competition, seasonality, and capacity to respond to inquiries. We may recommend improving a landing page before paying to send visitors to it. If you use Ads, we agree on the target services and area, separate advertising spend from management fees, and review relevant inquiries as well as clicks.
Do I need a separate page for every town I serve? Not automatically. A clear service-area section and strong individual service pages may be the best starting point. A town page is useful when it can offer distinct information, such as local projects, relevant service details, or answers to questions customers in that area actually ask.
We avoid copying the same page and changing only the town name. If separate location pages make sense, we plan them around your real coverage and available examples. For a contractor working across Cape Cod, it is usually more practical to prioritize the communities and services that matter most to the business, then expand when there is useful content to add.
Can you guarantee a number of leads or AI recommendations? No. Lead volume, Google rankings, and recommendations from AI search tools depend on factors that no agency controls completely. Competition, advertising budget, customer demand, reviews, the strength of your offer, and how quickly you respond can all affect results.
What we can do is agree on specific work, improve the information customers find, and establish useful measurements. Where tracking is available and configured, we can review website inquiries, relevant search activity, and campaign results to guide the next steps. AI visibility work follows the same practical approach: clear, accurate information and useful examples, without promises of a particular citation or recommendation.
How much does contractor marketing cost? The cost depends on what your business needs: a new website, improvements to an existing one, local SEO, Google Ads support, or ongoing website care. Page count, content preparation, project photography, and the condition of your current site also affect the scope. You can review our pricing information for a starting point.
After discussing your goals, we provide a written quote outlining the work, responsibilities, and fees. One-time project costs, recurring support, and advertising spend are explained separately. If your budget is limited, we can discuss a smaller first phase focused on your most important services and contact opportunities.
What should I bring to the consultation?Bring your website address, the services you want more inquiries for, your actual service area, and an idea of your budget. It also helps to explain what is working now, how most customers find you, and whether you want more repair calls, estimates, recurring maintenance, or larger projects.
Your own project photos, approved customer reviews, and examples of websites you like can make the conversation more productive. If you already use Google Business Profile, Search Console, Analytics, or Google Ads, let us know; access can be arranged later if it is needed. You do not need to have everything prepared before contacting Eric.
