Frequently Asked Questions
Can you help if my type of business is not listed?
Yes. The categories on this website show examples of our client experience. They are not a complete list of the businesses we help. Tell us what you do, who your customers are, and what you want to improve. We’ll discuss whether Acorn is a good fit and recommend a practical next step.
Do I need a new website, or can you improve the one I have?
We review the existing platform, content, navigation, and contact paths before recommending a rebuild. Focused improvements may be enough when the underlying site works well. If a redesign makes more sense, we explain the reasons and plan how to preserve useful content and established page addresses.
Can you include products, video, or a portfolio?
Yes. We plan content around what helps your customers decide. That might mean a product showcase, hosted video, project galleries, or service descriptions. Online checkout, booking tools, and other new integrations are separately scoped so the requirements and ongoing costs are understood.
I am not comfortable with technology. Can you guide me?
Yes. You’ll work directly with Eric Grossman, who explains recommendations in everyday language. We can help organize your information and show you the routine tasks you are likely to need. If you prefer to leave updates to Acorn, we can discuss ongoing support.
Should I start with SEO, Google Ads, or email marketing?
That depends on your audience, current website, budget, and goals. We first make sure visitors can find useful information and contact you. Then we discuss the channels that fit your business and how results can be measured. You do not need to commit to every service.
Do you work only with businesses on Cape Cod?
Acorn is based in Barnstable and works with small businesses and nonprofits across Cape Cod and Eastern Massachusetts. We can discuss your location, audience, and project requirements during the initial conversation to determine the right approach.
How much will the work cost?
We discuss your priorities and review what already exists before preparing a written scope and price. The quote identifies the pages, content, features, and support included. Hosting, ongoing updates, advertising spend, payment processing, and paid subscriptions are discussed separately where relevant.
